By downloading, installing, or using the VidAlarm mobile application ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Your continued use of the App following any changes means you accept the updated Terms.

2. Use of the App

You agree to use VidAlarm only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not infringe on the rights of others or restrict their use and enjoyment of the App.

Prohibited behavior includes:

  • Harassing or causing distress or inconvenience to any person
  • Transmitting obscene or offensive content
  • Disrupting the normal flow of dialogue within our App
  • Attempting to gain unauthorized access to our systems

3. User Responsibilities

As a user of VidAlarm, you are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of any account information
  • Ensuring your device meets the minimum system requirements
  • Ensuring that your internet connection is secure if using network features
  • Maintaining backup copies of important data

4. Content Usage

Important Legal Notice: You are solely responsible for any video or media content you add to VidAlarm. By using the App, you represent and warrant that:

  • You own all content you add to the App, or have the legal right to use it
  • The content does not infringe on any intellectual property rights
  • You will not use copyrighted material without proper authorization
  • VidAlarm does not distribute, host, or provide copyrighted content

VidAlarm assumes no responsibility for unlawful content use by users.

5. Alarm Reliability Disclaimer

Important: VidAlarm should not be relied upon as your sole alarm solution for critical situations.

VidAlarm is not responsible for missed alarms caused by:

  • Device settings (Do Not Disturb mode, silent mode, low battery)
  • Operating system restrictions or updates
  • Hardware limitations or malfunctions
  • User error or misconfiguration
  • App being force-closed or uninstalled

6. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, VidAlarm and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to damages for loss of profits, goodwill, use, data, or other intangible losses.

The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either expressed or implied.

7. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate your use of VidAlarm at any time and for any reason, including if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the App will immediately cease.

8. Changes to Terms

We may revise these Terms at any time without notice. By continuing to use VidAlarm after such revisions, you accept and agree to the changes. We recommend reviewing this page periodically to stay informed of any updates.

9. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which VidAlarm is developed and operated, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

10. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in effect.
