How do I set a video alarm?

Open VidAlarm, tap the "+" button to create a new alarm, select your desired time, choose a video from your device, and tap "Save". Your alarm is now ready!

Why didn't my alarm go off?

Make sure notifications are enabled for VidAlarm in your device settings. Also check that your device volume is not muted and VidAlarm has permission to play audio. Ensure the alarm time is set correctly and the app hasn't been force-closed.

Does VidAlarm work offline?

Yes, VidAlarm works completely offline. Video alarms stored on your device will function without an internet connection. However, some features like analytics may require internet access.

Can I use YouTube videos?

VidAlarm works with video files stored on your device. You can download videos from YouTube using third-party tools and then import them into VidAlarm. However, VidAlarm cannot directly access YouTube or stream videos from online sources.

Why is there no sound for YouTube in background?

YouTube videos cannot play audio when the app is running in the background on most devices due to platform restrictions. This is why VidAlarm recommends using your own video files for the best alarm experience.
